- Gender;
- Date of birth;

Claim24 B.V. does not process more personal data than strictly necessary (privacy by default).
What do we process this data for?
laim24 B.V. processes personal data necessary for the handling of a flight claim. Via the website www.claim24.eu the above data is requested and processed during the filing of a claim. We need the data for entering into a business relationship with you and to determine your identity, but also to maintain contact with you. For a correct communication with you, it is important to be able to identify and be able to address you with the correct salutation and name. The address details are also required for correspondence and the preparation of letters. Because we provide online services, we also need a (shielded) copy of your identity document to determine your identity and to provide this to the air carrier if necessary when submitting a claim. The airline or court must be able to verify your identity by means of your full name, date of birth, and signature (which should match the signature on the signed Power of Attorney). However, your passport photo and social security number are not required and are therefore shielded either by you or by us. The document number is rarely requested. Your e-mail address is mainly needed to keep you informed of your submitted claim and we need your bank details to be able to transfer your compensation when successfully completing a claim. Naturally we also need your booking details to claim your compensation. Without this information, we cannot determine whether or not you are entitled to a reimbursement and what the amount is. We also need booking details to claim against the airline as proof. IP addresses, device ID, and cookies are also collected and processed during your visit at our website to collect static information about the use of the website. With this information we can, among other things, monitor and improve our online services. For more information about cookies, you can consult our cookie policy on www.claim24.eu.
In what way is your personal data used?
Your personal data will be processed within Claim24 B.V. only by employees who have received permission for this in relation to their function and authorisation rights.
Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties, such as an air carrier or (other) legal service provider, if this is strictly necessary or fits the purpose of successfully handling your claim. If it is not strictly necessary, we will first request permission from you at all times. Your personal data will not be sold to third parties.
Your personal data is not kept longer than strictly necessary and often depends on the duration of a claim. The retention period after completion of a claim is a maximum of 24 months.
You can also view, correct and/or change, transfer, and have your personal data deleted on request (if your obligations have also been met) via support@claim24.eu or via the online environment by logging in. Go to “My Claim” on our website.
When submitting a claim and provide information (via a secure connection – HTTPS), an online account is created (on a secure server) for you with which you can log in via “My Claim” on our website. You can view and modify all your stored personal data here. You will be kept informed of your claim as much as possible through this environment. Only authorized employees can view your claim and add relevant information and/or documents and are also contractually bound in terms of confidentiality.
You always have the right to file a complaint.
